- Dakota Bounty is a LOCAL MARKETPLACE.
- Anyone can have a look around, read ads, etc. without logging in or making an account. Some information may be hidden from view of non-logged-in visitors.
- Logged in users, Members, can place ads, edit and delete their own existing ads, and renew their expired ads. We hold ads for 30 days after expiration so they can be renewed rather than making our advertisers re-enter from scratch. After 30 days in expired status ads are purged.
- Logged in members can communicate on-site with other members using the internal message system.
- New Members get 10 advertising credits (Bounty Bucks) for registering their account.
- Members get 10 Bounty Bucks for referring new Members who open their own accounts. To do this, share your referral link with other people. When they use your link to sign up, you both get 10 Bounty Bucks. Your unique referral link is found in your Wallet menu under Referrals.
- All advertising is paid with Bounty Bucks. You can find your current balance in your Wallet. If you need more Bounty Bucks than you can earn them by referring new members, you can buy them from existing members who are willing to sell, and you can “Top Up” your Wallet by buying Bounty Bucks with dollars. Multiple payment methods are supported.
- Bounty Bucks may be “paid” from one member account to another. If a buyer and a seller of something wish to do payment in Bounty Bucks they may. Sellers are not required to accept Bounty Bucks for their goods. It’s an option that is available.
- Bounty Bucks are not redeemable for cash. Dakota Bounty does not buy back Bounty Bucks. HOWEVER Bounty Bucks are the ONLY payment form accepted to place and run ads on DakotaBounty.com.
